Time Piece - An Important Accessory for Gentlemen

The old adage "Time is Gold" is in observance once again. As a gentleman living in the new era, a watch is an essential style of element.  A subtle styling accessory which will define the bearer better. So many casual watches found their way into office or formal settings. But of course, wearing a watch should definitely be in style with your suit or clothes. Sports watches should not be paired with casual style dresses or sophisticated time pieces into informal clothes. But since we are in the tropical country, where sunlight is much more frequent even though we are in the “rainy” season, a stylistic watch is a must preferred choice. As for myself, I am looking for a time piece which is versatile, where I can wear it anywhere: going to mall, attending events, except of course for formalities like in the office.
Time Tomato SWAP Watches

I received an invitation from Tomato Fashion Brand, a brand known for its fashionable apparels
and unique styling statement. This store is widely known in the major malls at Metro Manila for its affordable apparels. They are inviting me for their Tomato Time party, where they get to introduce Cebu their Tomato Time SWAP watches. Guess why it is called SWAP watches, the image below will explain better than me.

SWAP watches come in colors, perfect for everyday use of the stylish gent and youth. I don’t know if these guys can convince me to select their brand, but let’s just let them try. Wait, did I mention the price? For a expensive-looking, with excellent craftsmanship, the unbelievable starting price is at P500. They are opening their store at SM City Cebu on July 19, 2013. And guess what’s in for their opening? The first 30 customers P300 off their first purchase AND the next 20 customers will get a 30% off on their next Time Tomato purchase! Isn’t that so many blessings? Also, when you purchase a SWAP watch, you get to have their straps too!

Because it is SWAP, it is for both gentlemen and ladies. Alike.

Be the first to know their latest updates and exciting promos by connecting to their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram account. See you on the 19th of July at SM City Cebu!

Change (IMO)

This is widely discussed among the religious crowd. I’m not into religion nor am I religious, but let me take my part and view on the subject.

Change is inevitable, yet it is something that every ‘boring’ individual aspire. In our daily life, we have our work to do, daily chores, and we are doing it for almost 365 days. Although some are in the exemptions for the kind of job they are in, we cry for change caused by the pain of boredom. But as a being created with freewill, thus the gift is exercised.

So much for individualism, the change we are really crying out is the change in the world. Sounds ambitious, eh? As mentioned, the maxim on the right describes briefly on where to start. What to start? Change. Mahatma Ghandi cried out for change in the government in behalf of the people, and as far as history can tell, he was successful.

In our case, we should not cry out and wail on the streets as what people in the Wall Street does. It should  start somewhere. In ourselves.
"All great changes are preceded by chaos."
By making out what is inside of us, we can see clearly the malignant in the world that is blocking our sight to see for change. Also, everyday is not boring. It is yet another world of reality. As one great writer said that there is a hidden and unique blessing in everyday, if failed to discover then that blessing will be lost forever. Make everyday a change within through the help of that blessing.

Change the ‘boredom’ of everyday. It is up to us on how to transform oneself. If we then are transformed, then world change is easy. Sometimes, we may think it as a burden, but that is the challenge. Indeed, life is challenge.

Highlighting the Future

Blisters are popping on every toes of my feet. I was roaming around the premises of SM hoping to find a lost blogger seeking its way to the Visayas Blogging Summit.

Yes, the Visayas Blogging Summit! After Mr. Bjornson Bernales announced to us the most anticipated Visayas Blogging Summit, I was halfway checking the calendar in my phone, setting its alarm and cancelling all meet-ups on Nov. 26. And now, the anticipation is over. Loaded with hope and interest, I picked up a chair nearest to my fellow bloggers who were talking with excitement.

The Visayas Blogging Summit was carried out with it's theme "Blogging and Beyond". It also highlights that bloging is a potential tool to increase the height of social awareness of every individual.
The event was attended by known personalities who made a big achievements not just on the cyberspace, but also in the industry. Visayas Blogging Summit was spearheaded by a talk of the importance of finding our own niche in the vast area of blogosphere.
Next was the subject on the elevation of social media. It gives importance on one's behavior in the cyberspace. It also calibrated social media as an opportunity of pursuing earnings.

The most interesting part was that when one of the speakers, Mr. Chris Ducker, turns to speak. It was at this time that bloggers, including the walk-in individuals, are caught on the edge of their seats. It was at this point that Mr. Chris was talking about on the five easiest ways to earn money online. He even bets everyone to text him after 30 days if one of those five he mentioned doesn't work.
After the talk of Chris Ducker, the usual thanking of sponsors followed, and at that precise moment, everybody was stunned. Four gorgeous candidates of Miss Earth walked in, waved, and smiled. It was like every men's jaw dropped. As in my case, I was petrified for I was one of their escorts :P! As the candidates grabbed the stage to take their turns of introduction, it was then revealed by Miss Guam herself that she is part filipina. Hearing at those words, a surge of pride began to boil in me.
A series of talks(after the Miss Earth candidates left, leaving us enveloped in awe) was followed, speakers from ABS-CBN Foundation, RAFI and a professional on E-Commerce took their turns on stage, supported by an open forum.
The Blogging Summit is one of a kind event for empowering and lighting the dead torch of awareness that lies to each individuals.

The Visayas Blogging Summit does not end in just a day, rather, it was the start of one's journey towards a better future.

As the crowd parted the Trade Hall, I felt pain thinking the journey that lies ahead. I felt, how many blisters will I get towards this journey?

Stop H-A-T-E, It's nonsense!

While walking towards my home, I happened to pass by a crowd bullying a gay. I admit my being cowardly. I began to walk briskly. I tried to look on his face and I could spell out what he is trying to tell me in his eyes, help. I could do nothing, they are bigger than me and they were four of them. So I guess I'll just rant it out through my blog.

Hate. Its there. In every place you look hate is there. Hate not only against Pagans but against mostly everyone. Gays, Muslims, Jews, Christians, etc. Only love will conquer it. Also, I dislike calling it Gay rights. It should be Human Rights. They are Human. We are human, nothing else. The impoverished, and the so called "weak" by the society, like us and people should change and fight (not in a violent or any thing harmful) for our rights. Logo is a channel for the homosexual community. Well, why the heck don't we have one? We need to show people that just because we are weak and we believe in our capacity that were not insane. We COULD fight. And We will show it to the world.

Now, avoiding hate is easy...Don't listen to it, don't watch it, don't even focus your attention on it for one minute. If you do then you get angry and then your just as bad as the people who have insulted you. Trust me, you might think that just because I'm 19, I don't know what I am talking about, but trust me, I know. I've been ridiculed and mocked by my family and peers just because I was different. Well I am the better person. You know why? Because I have something that they will never have. Integrity. It hurt, yes. It hurt more than the deepest cut. No it doesn't go away. But I know that people love me for who I am and what I do. Look around you. People DO love you for who you are. Embrace the love and the hate will perish.

TECHNICAL EDUCATION: Trump Card of Success

It is undeniable nowadays, that to be in the traditional college education - that is sitting in a university for four years - is a priviledge not to be missed out. The prize of which is a money-like textured paper encrypted therein the evidence that proves one's excellence in a certain field. This papaer is a passport in reaching one of the lanes of success. Aside from attaining the Bachelor's Degree, another lane of success emerges on the surface: Technical Education. Contrary to traditional college, most technical schools offered technical education ina a span of at most three years, and the Center for Industrial Technology and Enterprise or mostly known as CITE is one of those schools. For the sake of those who knows nothing about CITE, dont worry, it's history will be unfold as this is the primary concern of this article.
CITE ranked as a no.1 technical school in the Philippines. It's foundation was laid first in the mind of the renowned "There Be Dragons" priest St. Josemaria Escriva, the founder of Opus Dei.
It was the built in 1990 and was made possible "through the financial resources and technical expertise of the University of Asia and the Pacific Foundation, Inc., Meralco Foundation, Inc.(MFI), and Associazone Centro ELIS." As mentioned, CITE offers technical education for 3 years. It provides top-quality training to the deserving but less-priviledge youth by means of scholarship. The institution also serves, apart from technical training of course, as a venue to provide upgrading course, values and management upgrading courses to the industries.
St. Josemaria Escriva being the cornerstone of CITE, has its value-formation program at a certain peek of elevation. So I bet you can hardly say that the one snatching your things is a graduate of CITE(lol!).
So, being a graduate in technical education will lead one's path to the main road of success. How much more if embedded therein an elevation of moral values? Surely, one has not possessed the passport of success, but rather, one in in the vehicle via success! (For more information about CITE visit www.cite.edu.ph)

Hey! Ho!

I've been thinking over it, and now I'm already here. For months I've been pondering on what issue or topic I'll start abusing with. But, obviously, I'm sure I will end up ABUSING! Well, I guess I don't owe everybody much of explanation as to why I am talking all of this. But one thing for sure, I'll be expecting some (or even more) "upgrade" of something within my potentials. As time goes one, I'll be expecting Blogger to unveil something within me. Well, time to continue my work, adios!

I have learned

This text, which I found on the Internet, is attributed to me . I did not write it, but I think worth reproducing here

I’ve learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is be someone who can be loved. The rest is up to them;
I’ve learned that no matter how much I care, some people just don’t care back;
I’ve learned that it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it.
I’ve learned that you can get by on charm, for about fifteen minutes. After that, you’d better know something;
I’ve learned that either you control your attitude or it controls you.
I’ve learned that no matter how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fades and there had better be something else to take it’s place.
I’ve learned that heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.
I’ve learned that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you’re downhill are the ones to help you get back up.
I’ve learned that sometimes when I’m angry I have the right to be angry.
I’ve learned that true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true love.
I’ve learned that just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to doesn’t mean that they don’t love you with all they have.
I’ve learned that maturity had more to do with what types of experiences you’ve had and what you’ve learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you’ve celebrated.
I’ve learned that your family won’t always be there for you.
I’ve learned that no matter how good a friend is, they’re going to hurt you every once in a while.
I’ve learned that it isn’t always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you have to forgive yourself.
I’ve learned that no matter how bad your heart is broken, the world doesn’t stop for your grief.
I’ve learned that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.
I’ve learned that just because two people argue, it doesn’t mean they don’t love each other. And just because they don’t argue, it doesn’t mean they do.
I’ve learned that we don’t have to change friends if we understand that friends change.
I’ve learned that two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.
I’ve learned that no matter how you try to protect your children, they will eventually get hurt and you will get hurt in the process.
I’ve learned that your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don’t even know you.
I’ve learned that it’s hard to determine where to draw the line between being nice and not hurting people’s feelings and standing up for what you believe.
